CILIP Chartership update
Many of you will have read about the Future Skills Project Board, set up by Council to review CILIP’s qualifications, to ensure that they will continue to be relevant recognised across the broader sector. The project includes a review of Chartership (including Fellowship), Certification and revalidation, which will commence later this year. The work of the Project Board is outlined in an article by the Board Chair, Keith Wilson, in the latest issue of CILIP Update:

If you have already registered for a CILIP qualification, or are planning to register and/or apply this year, you are strongly advised to complete your qualification.
This is a significant project and it is unlikely that information on changes to the qualifications or to the requirements will be published before the autumn at the earliest, following extensive consultation with key stakeholders. Taking into account the transition phase, to any new qualifications, it makes sense to apply as soon as you are ready to do so.
