Caring for Older People - new website and free training
NHS Education for Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Social Services Council, have developed a website to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for finding and sharing knowledge relating to the care of older people - including evidence, learning resources, legislation, standards and guidelines, publications on topics such as nutrition, stroke, dementia, medicines management and much more.
It will be of particular interest to library and information professionals who work with health and social care practitioners caring for older people across the sectors, and who wish to add this portal to their training portfolio.
To find out more, please view the attached flyer which will tell you how to get involved, including booking a free online or face to face training session. All that is required to take part in the online training is access to a PC.
