Proposed price reduction model
Recently at the SHINe AGM the committee announced that due to membership feedback it has been engaging in reviewing the membership pricing structure for institutional members.
We have now produced a paper that sets out a tiered model of pricing for institutional members. This includes background to changes, the value of SHINe membership, financial implications and the proposed model. This has been a major initiative for the committee and much of the work over the last 6 months has been specifically on this.
Our job in the committee is to listen to our members and take action. The committee are now happy to release this paper for consultation and voting. We look forward to hearing your comments and hope you will take the time to vote.
The proposed pricing model has been emailed to every member listed on the SHINe membership database. All members listed are entitled to vote. If you have comments and questions then these can be directed to the committee Secretary (Ruth Robinson ruth.robinson4@nhs.net) and the Membership Secretary (Suzanne Wilson suzannewilson@nhs.net).
We need 50% of the members listed, not just the institution but everyone listed on the membership form for a particular institution, to vote for acceptance or non-acceptance of the proposed model.
I do hope that you consider this new proposed model, as you the membership have been asking for changes.
Details will follow soon for the voting process.
Best regards
