SHINE Honorary Life Member: Julian Hodgson
What makes SHINE work so well is the participation of all our members in all aspects of making this organisation a success. But that does not automatically mean involvement on a committee or working group. In fact much of the good work that goes on is at a grassroots, day to day level, with the energy and enthusiasm that our members carry for their profession and workplace.
This is case of Julian Hodgson, who recently retired as librarian at Wishaw General Hospital. Many people in SHINE have commented on Julian's professionalism and skills as a librarian and support for SHINE over the years and we wished to mark his departure officially from libraries. We are happy that Julian has accepted our offer of honory life member, and sneakily we hope he will continue to influence us in SHINE in any small way that he can.
