Library procurement - free seminar
November 9, 2009, NLS, George IV Bridge Edinburgh
Libraries of all kinds are under increasing budgetary pressure. Good use of resources is incumbent on every librarian and manager. The procurement landscape is a complex one and librarians need a good grasp of the issues and solutions to ensure they maximise their budgets, however they also need to understand some of the issues in relation to the products they procure.
This free SLIC/CILIPS organised one day seminar being held in Edinburgh on Monday 9th November is intended to give staff a broad overview of the strategic and operational issues including consortium procurement and e-services.
Lunch and refreshments are provided
